At Imagine, we walk alongside talents on one of the most challenging journeys there is: building a career in a new country, in a new system, often in a new language. Whether they're already in Germany or still planning to relocate — from Iraq, Egypt, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and many other places — they come to us with ambition, skills, and questions.

That's where our work begins. Through our three tracks — Junior, Vocational, and Work — we prepare candidates to be ready to apply: we help them craft a strong CV and LinkedIn profile, define their application strategy, and understand the cultural context of the German labor market. Then, during their application phase, we stand by their side: screening applications, recommending them to companies in our network, and preparing them for interviews. We stay with them until they receive a job offer — and even support their move when the time comes.

None of this works without our voluntee coaches. You bring the experience and the time, we bring the talents and the structure. You meet talents in personal sessions, scheduled flexibly around your availability. An hour a week is enough to make a difference.

CV & LinkedIn Coach

Help talents build a strong first impression.

You review CVs and LinkedIn profiles in 1:1 sessions, giving honest feedback on structure, content, and clarity. Talents come to you with a draft based on our templates — your job is to sharpen it so they stand out to German recruiters.

Who fits this role:

3+ years of working experience in Europe
Based in Europe
Has reviewed dozens of CVs for friends and family already

Application Coach

Guide talents through their job search — from strategy to interview.

You support talents in finding the right roles, refining their application strategy, and preparing for interviews through 1:1 sessions. You'll screen applications, advise on next steps, and help them walk into interviews with confidence.

Who fits this role:

3+ years of working experience in HR or recruiting
Based in Europe
Familiar with the German or European job market in your industry
The friend everyone calls before a job interview

Industry Expert

Share what you know with people building their career in your field.

You meet talents in 1:1 sessions to answer their questions about your industry, share insider perspectives, and help them prepare for interviews specific to your field. No teaching required — just an open conversation.

Who fits this role:

5+ years of working experience in your field (STEM, healthcare, finance, IT, marketing, etc.)
Based in Europe
Familiar with the German or European job market in your industry
Knows the unwritten rules of their industry — and can put them into words
